When the founders started Hooves & Paws, they saw a need for a haven for dogs, cats, horses, and farm animals who had nowhere else to turn. They have been working tirelessly for the past 12 years to rescue needy animals and provide them with lifelong sanctuary. Since 2002, Hooves & Paws Animal Rescue has placed more than 7,000 dogs and cats into permanent loving homes. Volunteers who offer their homes and hearts to foster these puppies in need give the dogs the attention, care, and medical treatment they require, including spay/neutering. The club has an updated list of all its members, so you can check it out and contact anyone on the list for more information.

Hooves and Paws’ mission is to save Havanese and Havanese mixes from abuse, neglect, and abandonment, regardless of age or health status. This site does not constitute pet medical advice, please consult a licensed veterinarian in your area for pet medical advice. In truth, it is, and that’s why you should be sure about why you want to get a rescue Havanese. If you’re looking for a rescue Havanese because it’s cheap, it may not be your best interest to get a rescue dog. They firmly believe that the Havanese Angel League is the best possible way for a person to locate their new friend/companion and have it be a WIN/WIN situation all the way around. They’re lifelong companions who will be by your side through thick and thin.

Its members consist of people from all over the country who love the Havanese breed. Once they are in an adopted home, they still follow up as needed with support for the life of the Havanese. The goal at this point is to get them adopted into wonderful homes. The adoption process is quick and stress-free while helping you find the dog of your dreams. Since the beginning, their goal was to help unwanted Havanese dogs find loving, forever homes.

The Sacramento SPCA is a full-service animal shelter, providing quality care for dogs and cats who are homeless through no fault. Hooves & Paws Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501c3, a no-kill organization that provides temporary shelter for unwanted, abused, neglected, and abandoned animals. They give these animals the best of medical care and lots of TLC until they find they’re forever home.

They work closely with their adopters to ensure that the dog you adopt from them will be an excellent companion. This requires patience and commitment as the organization only wants the best homes for their loved ones. Whether you’re a Havanese lover or are looking for one, there’s no better friend than that rescued from one of California’s Havanese rescues.
