He wants to be right in the middle of things, being the life of the party. He has been vetted, is up to date on vaccines, and is ready to show off his comedy routine in his new forever home. Your generous support goes directly to providing care for our rescued Labradors. Is there a Lab available for adoption that caught your eye? Ensure their care is supported by making a donation in their name.
In his foster home, Dewey has transformed into a fun-loving, people-loving pup. It has been a joy to watch him gain confidence and feel secure in his surroundings. Every day he makes great strides and feels more and more comfortable. Dewey loves to play with all the dogs at his foster home, but really enjoys the younger, energetic foster siblings.
They play chase, carry sticks together, roll around or play tug or war for hours— then come in for a nap. Dewey now snuggles on the couch with Foster Mom when she sits down to read or relax, and he asks for belly rubs, ear rubs and/or back scratches all the time! Dewey is still timid around men, but he is making great strides in approaching them.
They haven’t had many car rides, but did well on the ones they did have. Both are good with other dogs, but shouldn’t be around cats. If your heart is big enough for this sweet, loving pair, please come meet them today. He used to live outside with 12 other Labs, so he needed time and space to adjust to indoor living and trusting humans.
He gives great kisses and nuzzles and makes the cutest faces to get treats, which he takes very nicely. Drako would love a family that has a fenced yard for him to play in and who will give him the love, attention, training and exercise he needs. Cassidy is a black beauty with beautiful brown eyes, a sweet smile, and a tail that wags with her happy greetings. She has plenty of energy for playtime and likes to cuddle when she crashes.
