Peach is a 2 year old 50 lb coonhound who came to us from a Kentucky shelter. She has arrived in Massachusetts and is fostering north of Boston. Peach is friendly with new people, very affectionate and likes to be petted. She has loved every kid she has met, and would make a wonderful family dog. Peach’s ideal home would have space for her to relax and a fenced yard for sniffing and sunbathing.
Like all young coonhounds, he has a lot of energy and needs some good exercise everyday. Eeyore would enjoy having a home with a fenced yard. He would do best as an only dog or without an alpha dog in the home. He plays well with most other dogs in an outside setting. Food is very important to Eeyore as he apparently had a rough start in life. He is not food aggressive with humans but may challenge other dogs if food is left around.
He is still very puppyish in his behavior, but takes treats very gently. He is very playful and enjoys running around with other dogs. McCloud really enjoys being outside and sniffing around.
